Hey Guys!

I was kindly asked to review Maybelline's "The Falsies - Big Eyes - Volum'Express" Mascara.  As you can see, the packaging is quite attractive.

You will notice there are 2 brushes on this mascara tube.  The biggest one for the top lashes and the smallest for the bottom lashes.  

I am a mascara junkie... a makeup junkie with a special thing for mascaras, to  be honest :)
I like my mascaras to be on the dryer side, still lengthening and volumizing.  I found this one to be a tad too wet for me, but surprisingly, the length and volume where there.  The small brush did not catch my tiny bottom lashes so will be useless for me.  (I see myself cleaning and keeping the brush for lashes, though.)  

I find The Falsies - Big Eyes, to be aptly named because I had long, black lashes after applying this mascara.  One swipe, natural doe-eyes look, multiple coats, whoa, no clumping, just extra long, thick lashes.  I wondered if that wand did not deposit extra lashes on my eyes during the application!!! I could barely believe those lashes were mine!

I like this product because it did not clump, it did not flake or smudge.  It did not make my lashes "crispy" and was easy to remove with Micellar water (Bioderma).

I must say that there were too things I disliked a bit.  One, this mascara was too wet.  I'll probably put it in a drawer and use it in a month or two and I am sure the consistency will be to my liking.  Two, this mascara did not hold the curl in my lashes.  I did a test where I curled the lashes on one eye and not the 2nd one, applied the mascara the same way to both eyes and half an hour later there was no difference.  

Maybe a waterproof version would have kept the curl better.
